General Disclaimer
HOPE is a conservation organization which raises resources (money and manpower) through volunteer programs, merchandise, donations and memberships.
HOPE is not responsible for risk related to travelling to and living at the project sites. International travel does carry risk. Therefore, travellers should take into account current affairs, safety issues and personal health before considering travelling and ensure they have suitable travel insurance.
HOPE staff are covered by insurance but volunteers are not however before a volunteer can join a program they must show proof of suitable insurance or buy whilst at the project site before they can commence volunteering duties.
Volunteers above the age of 16 and below the age of 18 may join a volunteer program but must have a written and signed letter from their next of kin whom shall be contacted to confirm. The ultimate responsibility of school groups are with the teacher. HOPE will uphold high levels of safety during organized activities but during free time the organizing body or school representatives shall be liable for their pupils.
Donations received by HOPE prior its official registration shall be taken by Ecoteer community interest company which is a non-profit organization registered in the UK. Once HOPE is officially registered Ecoteer shall forward all donated monies or receipts to HOPE.
Payment
To become a HOPE member a membership fee is to be paid. By making payment you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed on this page. Any payment is non-refundable. If payment is made by PayPal then HOPE is not responsible for any losses or damages of any kind as a result of this third party service. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all payment details are correct before completing the transaction.
By receiving payment, HOPE are agreeing to provide the member with a monthly electronic newsletter and discounts in the HOPE online store.

Personal Financial Information
HOPE provide payment facilities using PayPal. At no time point in the transaction are your personal financial details shared with HOPE. Any transaction is between you and PayPal.
Web Site User Information
Like other web sites, we use visitor statistic logs generated by the web server to measure our performance and success. As an example, the logs will show how many people are visiting the site and how they navigate through the pages. As a result we may use this information to improve visitors’ experience by changing the design or content of our pages.
