Ecoteer
HOPE is an initiative of ECOTEER and prior the creation of HOPE and the approval from the Malaysian government, UK registered non-profit Ecoteer will be establishing the turtle conservation project in the Perhentian Islands, Malaysia. Additionally Ecoteer will be managing any donations given to HOPE prior its creation.
Ecoteer was formed in 2005 by Daniel Quilter and is currently a UK registered non-profit. Ecoteer currently provides a platform where volunteers and volunteer projects can contact each other directly eliminating middleman costs which often prohibit many people from volunteering.

The overarching quote Ecoteer CIC is based on is “seeing is believing”. If people see and experience the problems in the world firsthand they will be more determined, and in a better position, to help suitably.
Ecoteer is currently changing behind the scenes to facilitate greater benefits for conservation and community development in the world we live in.
Ecoteer’s future vision is:
Empowering people for a sustainable future
Empowerment of a global online community which has an offline purpose which is to help grass root organizations in conservation and/or community development. The global online community interacts with one another and with the projects via volunteering, buying locally made traditional handicraft and fundraising/donating to campaigns.
By allowing the online community to become part of a project will they be more willing to change their lifestyle to facilitate conservation or community development facilitating global change.
